Teachers Without Borders
Teachers Without Borders (TWB) was founded in June 2000 in order to connect teachers to information and each other in order to close the education divide.
Teachers Without Borders promotes the free and open use of collective wisdom generated by teacher leaders from every culture to help all teachers work more effectively. And so, Teachers Without Borders believes that teacher professional development is a social justice issue. By supporting the unlimited capacity of professional education to flourish, we support initiatives designed to help teachers create and share content, build communities, and determine their own fate.
The initiatives taken by TWB are; girls education, peace education, quake science and safety, education in emergencies, ICT in education, bridges to understanding, child-friendly spaces, and TWB legacy project.
