Teacher Mobile Application for Innovative Learning
The tMAIL – Teacher Mobile Application for Innovative Learning supports teachers, teacher educators, and policy makers in integrating self-regulated learning (SRL) into primary school classrooms across Europe by offering; a mobile application for teachers and associated monitoring platforms for teacher educators, and policy makers. The mobile application is generic and could potentially deliver any kind of teacher training. Additionally, a teacher training about how to develop and support the students’ self-regulated learning. This training is the content of the mobile application.
The ultimate objective of tMAIL is to help implement classroom practices that stimulate students’ autonomy and self-regulated learning. tMAIL aims to do so by designing a mobile learning tool that offers a solution for three important target groups:
- t-MAIL aims to offers primary school teachers a personalized and mobile training in order to help primary school teachers to support their pupils’ self-regulated learning skills.
- t-MAIL aims to support teacher educators in personalizing their training practices related to self-regulated learning by providing continuous feedback on teachers’ learning and teaching practice.
- t-MAIL aims to support (local, national and European) decision makers in introducing and automatically (!) monitoring self-regulated learning practices into primary education. We offer a tool that helps decision makers adjust their policies based upon real-time evidence!
